Vet appointment
You’re all probably sick of hearing about my dog Maude but I don’t care. It’s been 8 weeks since Maude had her second knee replacement surgery (other knee this time), and the prognosis is positive. This afternoon, the specialist said that her leg is healing better than expected and that she’s going to be good as new soon. There are only four more weeks of recovery. Which is good because it’s becoming increasingly difficult to walk her with a sling.
I sincerely hope that this is the last of her health troubles. Our optimism is at an all time high in light of the fact that since she began her new regiment of epilepsy medication she hasn’t had a seizure in over two months!
You can only imagine how elated I am, considering that in July she almost died.
Things are looking up for Ms. Maude! Yay!

I possess great compassion and seek to be of service to others.
Happy news! So glad to read this.
She’s a beauty of a dog.
Thank you!
Poor Maude! I feel for her on the epilepsy. I’ve had my own struggles with that. And knee replacement for a dog? Don’t you wish sometimes you could explain to them what was happening?
Yes I wish I could. But the saving grace is that she’s so super positive all the time. Makes it easier for me to cope.
Go, Maude! Get super-healthy!
Hopefully!
