The last day in July
The best part about life is getting up early every morning and embarking on a long walk. 6 a.m is usually my favourite time of the day. Whether winter, autumn, summer, or spring, dawn is quiet, and that’s what I prefer. Quiet. There’s a strong chance of thunderstorms this afternoon, another favourite of mine: Rain. There really isn’t anything more romantic than a walk in the rain, is there? It’s so important to stop at least once each day and remember to take that deep breath we’re told is so important. We can get so caught up in our lives, that we often forget to reflect and observe how magnificent our environment is. The flowers. The sun. The clouds. It’s all enough to break your heart.

I possess great compassion and seek to be of service to others.
Franco,
I so enjoy your depth, range and occasional quirks… I’d like to consider adding you to my blog roll. Thoughts? ps I got to enjoy a bit of Toronto weather in July taking my mom to the Toronto Archives in Vaughn. Cool stuff. Wish I’d had more time (and mom more city-patience) -Renee
It’s nice of you to ask to add me to your blogroll. I never ask anyone — I just do it! Is that bad? You can add me, no problem. The summer has been beautiful, with the exception of the last couple of days, but rain was needed.
In due time.I’m a bit behind on blog admin stuff… I’m getting ready to teach college again for first time in decade and a half… and the learning curve is steep… start tomorrow. Wish we well!
