Sirop Folie

SiropFolie

First let me say Felíz Día Papás! Unfortunately it’s a rainy Sunday so to make the best of a soggy morning I had brunch at Sirop Folie in the Recoleta barrio. Located in a Parisian-like alley, and decorated with charming rustic furnishings, Sirop Folie offers a bevy of culinary choices for any time of the day. I arrived before 11 a.m. and decided to order from the brunch menu. I settled on the egg dish with spinach. I was there early enough to enjoy a quiet and peaceful first hour, but the longer I remained the busier, and louder it got. The café con leche was delightful, but the best part of the whole experience was the pancakes served with a divine caramel sauce. After I ate, I enjoyed a glass of Malbec and made my way home with a satisfied and nourished belly.

    • Yeah I should have gotten a better shot of them but by then there were so many people that I felt odd photographing the place.
