Beenie gives me stink eye
What are you lookin’ at?
Whenever I’m feeling a little blue I just look at my animals and they make me instantly happy. I named Beenie after singer Nancy Shanks, who happens to be Tori Amos’ best friend. Shanks is better known by her nickname “Beenie”, and is thanked in the liner notes of many of Amos’ recordings. Amos also mentions her in the song “Father Lucifer” from the album Boys For Pele, singing, “Beenie lost the sunset, but that’s okay…”
My Beenie was born September 11, 2006. She’s getting up there!
Beenie’s nickname is ‘Beenster’.

I possess great compassion and seek to be of service to others. 
I think I’ve commented on Beenie before, and again I’m going to say that I heart her, she’s just lovely and those eyes! I had two orange cats back in Canada that didn’t make the voyage to Italy with me. I miss them terribly. I have a page on my blog dedicated to them B&B.
I understand how hard it is to leave pets, it’s why I’m having such a hard time deciding if I should go back to BA. I don’t want to leave them.
