Tigre

Tigre's art museum

Tigre's art museum

Back in July I went to Tigre at the edge of the Paraná Delta. The art museum was arguably the highlight of what turned into a very long day. I remember that all I wanted was coffee, but I just kept walking and walking. Coffee eluded me but the trek was worth it — along my journey I found this huge wedding cake!

My afternoon with the Casa Rosada

Casa Rosada

I have a couple of students who work in San Telmo. This afternoon one of them cancelled her session because she was too busy and instead I went for a walk to Casa Rosada. There were many people enjoying their lunch under the sun so I joined them. I had packed an avocado sandwich to bring with me for just this reason. The ‘Pink House’ fascinates me with so much of Argentina’s history having been written behind its walls. Apparently to achieve the exterior colour, the paint contained cow’s blood, but this cannot be proven.

Anyway, I took a photograph, enjoy!

Enlightened

Is this not the most hilarious trailer you have ever watched in your entire life? Love Laura Dern. Finally a show about me!

Another gem

I can’t turn a street corner without finding such gems.
